After losing flash drives for a year at a time and always worrying about what was on them, I purchased this device. Works great and uses hardware encryption. I don't worry about losing drives in parking lots anymore.

I purchased this one through work to replace the Aegis 2.0 that finally died after several years of regular use. it works fine, no problems except that I cannot eject it from Windows 7. Even after selecting the drive in the system tray to eject, it still shows up in windows explorer. So I wind up just taking it out when I think that no more files are being accessed. I can't find that anyone else has reported this problem online. I didn't have the problem with the 2.0.

Have used IronKeys for years, but had to switch to this because it works with Chromebooks which IronKeys do not. I was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality and ease of use. The fact it's FIPS certified makes it a good choice for those who value "real" hardware encryption in a USB device. The price is also right!

I LOVE this device!! Our company has ordered 10 of them. We have to abide by very strict HIPAA requirements in keeping information secure and this device accommodates perfectly!! I had an issue using it with my Apple. I sent a note to Aegis and they were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful to a technologically challenged user (me!).
