Reformatted the drive to NTFS (to support larger file sizes) and as the other review states the real usable space is 460GB - that's 52GB shy of the advertised 512GB capacity (a little over 10% less). Just advertise the drive as 460GB... A note to prospective buyers - this isn't one of those "scam" drives - you are actually getting a fully usable 460GB of capacity - it's just what happens when the marketing department gets the final say. It is a genuine SanDisk product - the free SanDisk recovery software license inside of the packaging is further proof of that. I'd still buy another one for the sale price.

Returned it twice, first time for a replacement and then for a refund. For some reason this flash drive is not happy with Windows11. I tested both on independent computers with Windows11. After formatting it to NTFS is freezes with errors after starting to copy large files. Works fine with Windows10 though. Not worth paying a lot of money for a large capacity flash drive that doesn't work. I bought some other types of SanDisk flash drives too, and they work well.

Very good product, recommended by the LDLC team, just one small drawback: this dongle gets quite hot when left plugged into a USB port. I don't know whether this is normal or not

I have bought 3 of them 512gb and after 1 month they fail, same problem for the 3, and now even 256gb are failing after 2 days of use.
