Very comfortable straight out the box, time will tell on the quality but from what I've researched they should last a while. Bought these for general walking / family excursions but soon turning into my everyday shoe.

Used for walk in to climbing. Easy to slip on and off. Really comfortable

We bought these for my husband the day before a hike up Snowdon. Worried that it would be a massive error to wear new shoes on such a big hike he was very pleasantly surprised. It was a wet cold and windy hike and we had to thread through gushing water for most of it but his shoes were waterproof through the whole 4.40h hike. And the grip was excellent on the wet cliffs.

Would rate as excellent all round if the lacing turns out to be robust. A good lightweight, shoe for general use.

I’ve had every brand there is of walking shoes. Finally got around to buying the Salamon Adventure GTX, and I will never buy another brand again. Out of this world comfy. Flexible. Waterproof. And cheaper than other similar shoes by other leading brands. Fully recommended
