Scarpa Mescalito Gore-tex Lähestymiskengät

These shoes are very well-made and comfortable. I initially bought the Mescalito boot in size 44EU, the size I wear in the Lasportiva TX4—but I discovered that this specific model has a different fit (it requires a size smaller), so I bought the low-cut Mescalito in EU size 43, and it fit me very well. It is suitable for feet of medium width or the "Greek" foot shape. I have worn them in the mountains, where they offer excellent traction, as well as at work, and I rate them 9 out of 10. They are waterproof when working in wet environments. For a foot length of 27 cm, Scarpa recommends size 42, just like Lasportiva. I always go up two sizes, so my everyday shoes are 44 EU, whereas for this Scarpa model, I wear a 43 EU.

Probably the best pair of approach shoes I’ve ever owned! Very comfortable, hard wearing and grippy even on wet rock. Also great for summer hillwalking on easy terrain. They are a bit on the heavy side though.

Scarpa has always been my go-to shoe brand for all my outdoor activities. These shoes replaced my last Scarpa approach shoes and they don't disappoint. They are supremely comfortable, they are stiff which is great for getting over tough rocky terrain and the protection around the toe gives your confidence in every step. I highly recommend.

Extremely robust and comfortable, would definitely recommend them. The sole is cushioning exceptionally well, while the slightly elevated heel helps with feet fatigue.
