This is the stuff nightmares are made of. Plugged it in and installed the drivers no worries but it would only show 2.4g networks, so I spent the next 6hrs watching youtube vids, reading old tech post and installing different drivers. In the end my thanks goes out to Tako714 and the post he replied to on Toms hardware that suggested changing the channel on your router to 157, mind you this was back in 2015 and the issue is still ongoing 10 years later. I would not recommend this to anyone and if I can avoid it I will never buy an Asus product again.
