Setup was easy. Works seemlessly with Unraid (6.4.1). Seeing 1.2GB/s transfer speeds, which seems right for 10Gb networking.

This is my “goto” 10 gigabit copper Ethernet adapter. It works well with both Windows and VMware 6.5 (VMware sees it as an ixgbe-based Ethernet adapter). Note that this card requires an x8 PCIe 2.1 or newer slot. When used with converged FiberChannel-over-Ethernet (FCoE) network gear AND storage (such as the Cisco Nexus line of switches and EMC VPlex storage matrix), this card lets you run minimal cabling to servers. We have our HA builds down to two power cords, two Category 7 cables and 1 Category 6e cable for DRAC. The separate SAN cabling we used to run is no longer needed! Very solid performer. Used primarily for 10G iSCSI on Dell ESXi servers. Great performance and very stable! Note this is for the 10G Ethernet (RJ45) model NOT the SFP+.

Ordered two of these cards, and one works as expected, but the second one has trouble linking at 10Gbps. Identical servers and setups are running both cards. After contacting the vender, they quickly took care to correct the problem. Very much appreciate their fast response to our problem.

Worked a treat and great value! The ports are one and the same (so the 2nd port is for redundancy rather than for a second network). Don't forget you'll need a 10Gb switch to see any benefit from it though!!
