The one I had is still working and is over 10 years old (same brand). I changed it for more flow. Top delivery.

I bought this managed switch to enable me to use link aggregation on my Asustor NAS. However, I found it important impossible to access the settings as use have to use an IP Address that is nut in the normal range for the router and gave an error when entering it. Despite hours spent on the internet trying to find out how to access this different sub-net I eventually gave up and tossed the switch away. The instructions were impossible for a non-expert to follow. I am not a novice with computers and can normally figure out what needs to be done eventually with a bit of research but this completely stumped me. They should understand that, although not many non-experts will want a managed switch, there are occasions where interested amateurs want to use it for a purpose like link aggregation or a VLAN and they should make the instructions capable of being understood by someone other than an IT expert.

I was specifically looking for a PoE switch with VLAN management. I had previously ordered a switch from TP-Link, but when I configured it, big surprise: Impossible to manage the VLAN Management (with in addition other broadcasting quirks between VLANs according to some sites). After looking at many manufacturers, the only switch that satisfied all my needs at the lowest price was this one. I've been using it for a few weeks now to run my two Ubiquity U6 Lite APs and it works great!

Great little switch. All my house switching gear is D-link and they just work. Small and effective, used USB to barrel adapter cable, so only had to plug it to TV rack power tower USB 2.4W outlet. Remote management and VLAN tagging are what was needed
