However it isnt managed out of the box, its expecting to connect to a ubiquiti hub so just be aware that the phone app will not connect to this.

As with all Ubiquiti gear, it's plug and play and becomes visible to the Unifi controller for seamless management of the device after installation.

This little switch does exactly what I needed. It can be powered by either the included USB-C charger or PoE. I use it with PoE since I did not want another power brick. It is a 5 Port Gigabit switch, fully managed from by Ubiquity Dream Machine and powered by my 8 port PoE switch. Just note, this switch does not supply PoE to any of the other ports. If you are in the Ubiquity ecosystem and need a small switch I would highly recommend this.

Fantastic entry-point into the UniFi world. Type-C power means it’s easy to power through load shedding too. Overkill waste of money if all you’re looking for is a plug & play switch.
