Performance at great price point. I deploy VOIP phone systems using a VLAN. Adding a VLAN is a snap. Can't beat the price. I have used at least 20 of these with no issues at all.

It does everything as advertised, not bad for a home office type of deal. I'm currently powering 3 802.3af APs off of it. However, it is only managed from a web UI (no ssh; I knew this when purchasing), and that webUI does not support https. Since the management address is not tied to a VLAN, anyone that has their traffic pass through the switch can hit the webUI. This makes it *really* difficult to secure the switch. I've decided to use it as an unmanaged switch to negate any security concerns. The webUI ran pretty slow, so I doubt that a firmware update will address this.

PoE works fine, but the GUI has no setting for a default gateway. If you're a home labber like me, that removes the ability to get to it from outside the same subnet that the management IP is on. I knocked off a start simply for that reason alone.

This device did not work right out of the box. The default ip address is 192.168.1.3. No device can be detected at that address when the device is connected to my network.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, 4 ports of POE and vlan/QOS is what I needed and this delivered. Web interface is refreshingly simple as well.
