All cables are sleeved and seem very flexible - I use a Fractal Torrent case which has a top mounted PSU, but cables were all long enough to reach with some extra headroom. Uses the more recent 12v-2x6 (H++) connector which seems to connect securely (actually seemed quite tough to remove when I tried wiggling/pulling it). Some other reviews online mention a noisy fan but I can't say I've heard anything annoying from it.

I wanted an 80+ Platinum power supply with enough PCI connectors for devices and this fit the bill well. Since testing the power supply and stress testing the new PC, it's working great. It's silent (fan does not spin) until it's under a considerable load. Very pleased. My only minor complaint is that, although a very nice quality, there is no sleeve around or combs on the cables so they sort of flop around like spaghetti.
