If your after quality sound this item is let down by the speakers, virtually no bass and the sound is very tinny. The cd player is acceptable for the money and using the headphone socket to run a 3.5mm cable to seperate decent speakers you can get a much better sound.

I took time to look at reviews, some felt it was light in weight so moved when you used it, others thought the sound was not too clear or loud. So balancing the reviews with the more positive ones I chose this little CD player. I've only had this a few weeks but I love it, its small and compact and slim, not bulky. I have it sitting on the window ledge of my little room and it looks great there, has a great sound, very clear and loud enough for a small room and looks lovely, black, glossy and slim with a blue light, couldn't have picked better and a great price too.

I've looked at this cd player instead of a clock cd player for a while now and I must admit I've waited to write my review until I've had time to use it and see what I think of its sound quality and other uses. It has everything I wanted, an alarm with either radio, cd or buzzer. Having the remote means I don't need to get up to turn it off. It's a neat unit but doesn't look cheap and the sound quality is good even turned up loud and it goes pretty loud! I don't use the radio much but it does what radios are supposed to do and the sound is great. I am very happy with my purchase and I know my sisters are planning on buying themselves the same player.

tinny sound and so light as a wheelchair user I find it moves when I load a CD! Remote so small its hard to use and reall confusing buttons!

My daughter loves it. Easy to use and she can skip songs from her bed:)
