Great wee bbq we get so much enjoyment from. This family days out at beach. Im also a coach driver so on days when a few drivers have a long wait I pop this in coach and enjoyment for us drivers too.

Brilliant BBQ, very impressed. I used it with the Webber charcoal which gave us excellent cooking results whilst Camping.

I bought this premium Weber for my RV . Tried it a few times and like others every time you put the lid on it snuffs out the coals and it goes cold. It will never even get the grill hot enough to cook anything . I can place red hot coals out of the chimney starter and place the grill and lid on with all vents open and in 5 min I can check by the hand test and it's not hot enough to make me move a hand off I can hold my hand above the coals forever. Probably the worst grill Weber or anyone has ever produced. They need the vents in the bottom like all other Weber . Save your money and get the silver and it's cheaper .

I have an old Smokey Joe Silver that I cook on several times a week that is 20 years old. Upgraded to the Gold and noticed that because of the side vents the Gold does not get as hot or cook as good as the old Silver. I even tried cooking side by side with the same number of briquettes. The Silver cooked faster and better than the Gold. Ended up converting my Silver pot to a Gold and problem was solved. Transfered everything but the bottom bowl and drilled new holes for the handle. Works great now and looks great too!
