Reolink RLC-823A 16X 8MP PTZ PoE+ auto-tracking -valvontakamera

I was skeptical getting into reolink to be used with synology Surveillance center. I am up to 9 cameras of differnt models mainly using Reolink. and have had no issues so far. Each model so far has lived up to its listing, and functions. I have been using several other brands of camera's that i wont name here, but so far these have been the best i have used. I will Look forward to using more of this model in the future.

Works great with room for improvement. I dealt with camera systems for years and I can say these are worth the money especially if you catch a deal. There are many more pros than cons in my opinion. Mics loud but I get some weird feedback so it's useless at the moment and it could track vehicles a little better. That's it for the bad the rest is history, I just purchased another one of these bad boys to work in sync with the other. Person tracking is on point and that's what really matters to me. I assume more firmware updates will come with that being said I would recommend.

This camera has so many great features: Great image quality, wide viewing angle, audio recording and two way live talking, siren, location presets with auto return to default view, email and app. alerts, so easy to install. I do wish they had sealing kits for the reset and power dongles. (Not a big deal to add a weather box)

Picture is good but just disappointed as I do not have all the functionality of the camera because my NVR is 4 years old and doesn't support it. I thought the functionality was soley in the camera and not the NVR. But customer support was very quick to respond and helpfull.

I purchased this camera because of the auto tracking feature. Ended up that that feature can’t be used (even that I updated the camera and have the latest version of software in my Nvr). It seems that the Nvr we have model RLB16-410 doesn’t have a software update yet that allow us to use the auto tracking. Be careful, check what system you have or this camera can be useless. Not having phone support makes this impossible. Should have stayed with Swann, at least they answer the phone and help you right away. EDIT: Finally the company put out the software update for this model and now does what it supposed to do.
