Good high-performance console, it manages to run most games like crimson desert (in turbo mode though) or less demanding ones, Library Tidy I had to do quite a bit of cleanup to remove xbox bloatware at startup so as to leave windows 11 at startup and thus lighten the system (even if windows 11 is not the most optimal for this console). A lot of updates on the first startup of the machine: you have to be patient and let the updates install quietly. Just a shame that the power charger and cable are not supplied with it (thanks Europe and its restrictions) You still need to have a charger on hand because the battery drains very quickly during gaming sessions. The console is a bit heavy and weighs a little on the hands after 30 min of play. The provided stand is not too much

As I am regularly on the move, it is good to have a portable console so I can play. I can play recent games.

In just two days, the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X was in my hands after 7500 km. Hard to be faster. This is my 3rd Ally (2023, then Ally X, then this one). This time I’m using it with XR glasses. The progress since 2023 is huge: battery life more than doubled (Z2 Extreme + doubled battery), excellent grip (Xbox Series controller-like), better haptics and above all a big performance boost because, on top of that, 35W mode is usable on battery (vs 25W before). Results: Ride 6 (1080p max 50-60 fps), RE2 Remake (60 fps+ at 17W, ~3 h), DOOM Eternal (75-80 fps at 35W), MHS3 (50-60 fps in 1080p + FSR). Only criticism: 7" screen. But with my XR glasses (virtual OLED 152"), it’s perfect!!
