It's the second time I've had this kind of earphone mainly because I think they offer good value for money. The ear plugs fit well. You can hear both what you are plugged into and also a little of the surrounding noises like cars, trucks and buses. As a passenger on a train one can listen without interference for the duration of your journey. These suit my 2+ hour train journeys and help to block the world on Manchester's MetroLink system. Blue, a favourite colour. Easy to wear. My last set had problems with connexion though only after much time. If these last longer I'd be pleased. These Sony earphones are a good utility and compare well to Böse headphones I once had. There's also a nice cloth sack to keep them in.

Had these ear buds before. I like the sound quality and the wires are quite robust with a good length lead.

I don't usually write reviews on Amazon for a product I purchased, but these Headphones are something else entirely! They just survived a washing machine and a dryer as I left them in my trousers. They work like nothing ever happened, so the build quality rating is TITANIUM! The Extra Bass that shows in its name is indeed there, you can easily hear the difference between regular ones and these Sony MDR-XB55AP In-Ear Extra Bass Headphones. If I could give it 6 stars, I would do so.
