Sony WH-1000XM5 Sinistä kehutaan erinomaisesta vastamelusta, joka on asiantuntijoiden ja käyttäjien mukaan markkinoiden parhaita. Äänenlaatu on erittäin korkea Hi-Res Audio- ja LDAC-tuen ansiosta, ja kevyt, mukava muotoilu sopii pitkille kuuntelusessioille. Älykkäät ominaisuudet, kuten Adaptive Sound Control ja speak-to-chat, lisäävät käyttömukavuutta. Haittoina ovat, että kuulokkeet eivät ole taitettavat, mikä tekee niistä vähemmän kätevät matkustettaessa, ja hinta on korkeampi kuin monilla vaihtoehdoilla. Vedenkestävyys puuttuu, mikä voi olla miinus joillekin käyttäjille. Kaiken kaikkiaan tämä on huippumalli parasta ääntä ja mukavuutta etsiville, mutta joitakin käytännön haittoja on.

Service from Richer Sounds Nottingham was excellent, gave me time to compare headsets in listening room and price was comparable to internet. As with everything you get what you pay for, the Sony WH1000XM5’s are good, and sound cancelling also good, but not the best you can buy. Other slight negative is they do move on your head if you look down. For me they are still a very good buy, and definitely value for money.

They sound great, if you don't ask the wrong things of them, the bass is good but you can't wellie it as it distorts. But it is a good sound hardly any white noise would buy them again. Not been able to get 90 hours out of the battery yet, but what I get is acceptable.
