Great monitor. Rgb on the back won't light up the wall but still great.

Having myself buy the brand new 35in ROG Strix Monitor for my own use and being seriously impressed with everything about its performance, I thought "Why not treat my son to a smaller version as well", Oh boy what a mistake, How this XG27WQ got the name of ROG and Strix is a complete mystery because the "Ghosting" on it is outrageously bad, the only way to actually get the "Ghosting" to stop is to turn the refresh rate down to 60hz (from 165hz). I would urge extreme caution with this monitor, or better yet, walk away. Returned for refund.

The monitor was delivered very quickly and is up and running fine. The only issues are that this is EU spec so no UK 3 pin lead and ASUS will not honour manufacturers warranty as it's recorded as a Netherlands supply item. I took these issues back to Photospecialist who have been quick to respond and their staff have been as helpful as they can within certain limits. They will supply a 3 year warranty through themselves but can only supply an adapter for the 2 pin lead. Bear in mind this is not a UK company but supply from the Netherlands.

Asus XG32VC bought used "very good" and item came missing screws, leads, scratch damage. amazon listed "item will come repackaged" only in description, False advertising! Amazon customer service was unhelpful and told me my only option is to return it, they wouldn't even cover price of screws and call it a day... Monitor itself, There is 2 vertical lines on monitor that have more brightness than rest of screen which is very noticeable when panning, grey uniformity is bad and very noticeable smearing and horizontal backlight lines in grey scenes. overall nice va panel minus these setbacks with only slight backlight bleed, inverse ghosting on dark transitions which is expected with va panels. hdr is terrible, i wouldn't even use it, brightness and colour are nice and vibrant, contrast is great. ELMB seemed to turn off freesync premium pro which made the picture stutter so didn't bother using it £520 monitor no! £400 maybe.
