I purchased this monitor to replace an HP 23vx that worked intermittently with my new HP Elite Mini 600 G9 Desktop. I also got rid of my 8+ year old speakers sitting on my desk. So far the new monitor works as expected. No the new speakers do not have high quality sound, but they work great for watching YouTube and Face Book videos. The monitor is much clearer than my old monitor.

I bought this for 2 reasons. One being to have less stress on my eyes. That remains to be seen as it is new, but at least it seems good so far The other is that many new monitors have stands that sit up high and are not adjustable vertically. I have a limited space on my desk and the adjustable stand really helps!

I really have enjoyed this monitor so far. My only regret is not getting a monitor with a speaker which would been better for my purposes but that is no fault of the product itself.

I purchased a new desktop computer from HP and realized that I had no volume. I wasn’t informed that the new computer did not have speakers. Also my old monitor did not have speakers. I contacted HP and the individual helping me recommended this monitor. Being impatient as I am, I ordered a speaker online from Amazon (next day delivery) to attach to the old monitor. The sound on the new monitor is so clear I do not need the attached one on the old monitor! The monitor screen is clear, vivid colors and it is just great! My only complaint is the power cord does not fit firmly into the monitor and the power goes off and on with movement. I did not realize that I could’ve returned it for a replacement until it was too late.
