HP – OMEN 27s Gaming Monitor 27inch IPS (780G5AA#ABB)

I had issues getting it set up. It wasn't crystal clear which cords went where, and them being just the tiniest bit loose meant the monitor didn't turn on which made me think I'd hooked it up wrong. But once it was hooked up properly it worked really well.

Amazing size. Perfect for working productivity due to the ultrawide design, but also a very nice size for gaming. I was apprehensive how gaming would be at first, but I've never looked back!

The 34" model has a good quality screen with no dead pixels or discolouration. When using it as a workstation monitor the large screen running at 3440 x 1440 gives ample room for multiple documents / web browsers simultaneously. Previously had two smaller monitors and the change to one large screen without a separation between monitors makes a bigger difference than you would realise. When using it to play games (connected to a RTX 3060 via a display port connector) it works really well, nice smooth graphics with no ghosting or colour distortion. Good contrast between dark / light areas and smooth refresh rate. Can definitely recommend for the price.

I have an Omen laptop and really like the anti glare from it. Looking to get a bigger monitor for gaming and work, I looked at other Omen products (among other of course). 2K, antiglare, HDR, 165Hz (120Hz through my Anker ucb-c hub, which I have hooked up to my surface pro 9 for work) this monitor is great, especially price-to-specs ratio. I've only just set it up and got it working, but super happy with it - had pretty much no hassle with it, with either laptop, and will happily add it to a desktop setup in a year or two when I build one. If anyone is interested, I also got a UGreen 8k HDMI 2.0 cable and Pebble Creative V3 speakers to complete my new desk setup. Genuinely so happy with everything

Great for work, allows better productivity. Not tried with games yet.
