I upgraded from my ASUS vg27aq, which is a 27 inch, 1440p display, so it has been quite a leap forward. I love the colours on this, and the built in speakers are enough for a movie. Obviously a separate sound system will be better, but it's not completely necessary. For gaming I still prefer a headset, however. I love being able to game and watch movies on the one screen, but if you're just looking for a gaming monitor, there are better options. If you want both, however, this monitor is a good pick. I wasn't a fan of having to get an app and sign up for stuff, but considering that's my biggest issue right now, I think I'm doing okay. My other major concern is longevity, which has yet to be determined, and how any warranty claim will be handled. For now, I just pray this thing doesn't explode so it's not necessary.
