The monitor is great when it works correctly. My unit has developed a fault or should Isay I’ve just noticed it and submitted a web ticket to Philips. My fault, due to the fact that the 49ers are actually two 27’s fused together, if Samsung(the OEM of the screen) do not calibrate correctly the screens will appear different. Which is what has happened to mine. Net result, half the screen is brighter than the other. Not the best experience.

it's a brilliant monitor with a massive 49" realestate. Excellent colours. The only drawback is that it needs to refresh the pixels every 4 hours.

Awesome display with all the bells & whistles. Only downside is the "Pixel Refresh Mode" that turns the screen off rendering your PC useless. (Just turn it off for ~15 min ever couple hrs and your good).

While there are many recommendations like LG, Samsung, MSI and Dell, don't overlook Phillips. This QLED is one if the best that can handle your documents, productivity and gaming well. It has enough ports to handle all of your input devices with sound behind it that you will not hear from other monitors. I added a sound bar but even without it the sound is phenomenal. Only issue is the programming software needs an upgrade. Other than that you are getting future specs at a great value.
