This is my first technic build of any kind in Lego, and the build was just so enjoyable. I will note that you have to be super attentive to detail with technic, because misplacing even by one stud can mess up the motion elements. Speaking of which - the movement features you build in the set during construction are fantastic! So much fun to play around with and pose Mario and Yoshi. Absolutely loved seeing the pixels come together in the sprite art of the two characters - would recommend to anyone as an excellent value.

This was my first LEGO set ever, and it sparked a huge hobby for me over the past year, collecting and building over 20 sets as of this review. Incredible building experience, and I'm so glad it started here.
