I bought this two weeks ago. I decided I did not need the new model with the new connections because I just wanted a good system for 5.1 speakers for the living room. I have so far watched the Lord of the Rings and Batman Trilogy's and the sound is great and more than enough for the room. Setting up was straight forward enough. So far I am very pleased with the system.

Denon h3800x - I am very pleased with this amp, a great high end budget price, super sound and easy to follow on screen set up. Punchy bass and light clear jingley treble sounds too, and plenty of opinions to perfect for personal tastes. Stereo music sounds fab as well.

I am very happy with my purchase irrespective of the remote not working, which Richer Sounds easily agreed to replace (at no extra cost). The staff are knowledgeable and would go out of their way to help customers.
