I bought this around 1 month ago, we are very pleased with our purchase. It’s perfect for projecting images on the ceiling and wall. It’s a really nice design and does not look out of place on our shelf above our bed. Also very impressed with the sound. The team in Chiswick were brilliant and I appreciated the advice and taking time to answer my questions :) thanks!

Bought this to use in a bedroom but it wasn't suitable as even in near dark levels it was not clear enough to watch, it needs a very dark room, richer sounds were very good and gave me a refund.

Since I bought it, I can't do without it anymore. I use it when traveling, at home, and I feel like I have my own little cinema. We'll see over time if it holds up; I hope I can keep it for at least 10 years because it is still very expensive. It's still, I think, a bit big, and I recommend buying an additional case for transport. It bugs a bit in navigation, with a bit of latency, but otherwise works very well once playback has started. Be careful, 4k is only possible via a wired connection, and not otherwise (which I don't really understand why, but oh well...)

The BenQ GV50, a 1080p room-to-room portable projector, offers robust audio for its size, an onboard battery, and overall picture quality suitable for casual viewing. Our main quibble: It loses significant shadow detail for SDR input (though not for HDR).
