Incredible projector and amplifier for the price. Both items are huge performers in their field for cost compared to similar products. I would highly recommend both if going for a high quality, but budget home cinema option. The only thing I’d add is if you’re looking at home cinema on a budget, it’s well worth spending a few hundred pounds more to upgrade the AV amp and speakers to go for Dolby Atmos sound which is what I ended up doing. The projector provides a 4k clarity of image which when linked to the right sound system becomes completely immersive!

I bought this projector about 3 weeks ago after my old 3D TV packed up. After speaking to Richer Sounds staff I realised that the only way to continue watching my 3D Blu-Rays was to either buy a second hand TV or a new Projector. After reading various reviews I decided on the BenQ TK700 along with a couple of pairs of XGimi-active shutter 3d glasses and a Sapphire 80 inch Portable Pull-Up Projector Screen. I am so pleased that I did. Everything is so much more realistic watching on this large screen (Double the size of my old TV). The clarity is incredible, It really is like having my own cinema at home with my existing 7.1 surround sound system. Even 2D looks really good from 4K HDR Blu-Rays - incredible colours and clarity. Also with the brilliant AI powered Owl3D software I can turn any video into very realistic 3D. Best setup I have ever bought. I would highly recommend it.
